AI Pet Video Cost, Privacy, and Refunds Explained
A transparent guide to Pawdeo credits, generation time, failed-task refunds, private creations, storage, and third-party processing.

Short answer: Pawdeo shows the exact credit quote before generation, keeps creations private by default, and refunds a failed or timed-out chargeable task once through an idempotent ledger entry. Small-volume generation is available to verified accounts, while checkout remains closed.
How much does an AI pet video cost?
The price depends on the effect's approved model and duration. Pawdeo displays the exact number of credits beside each available duration; it does not ask the browser to calculate the final charge. The server resolves the same effect, model, and duration from an allowlist before reserving credits.
Credit packs start at $6.99 for 75 credits, but checkout remains disabled until payment products, webhooks, and prices pass production verification. See the current pricing page for published packs and availability.
How long does generation take?
Published pet benchmarks took about 80 to 179 seconds for their specific inputs. A real task may take longer because of provider queues, safety review, storage, or network conditions. Pawdeo presents generation as an asynchronous task, so you can leave the page and return later.
Do failed videos use credits?
A chargeable task reserves credits on the server. Provider start failures, terminal failures, and timeouts enter a tracked failure state and trigger one idempotent refund. “Idempotent” means retrying the refund operation cannot credit the same task twice.
Are my pet photos public?
No. Creations are private by default. The browser receives an authenticated playback or download path, not a provider's temporary result URL. Server-side ownership checks protect task details and files from another account.
Who processes the files?
During generation, source images and fixed generation parameters may be sent to a model provider, and inputs and outputs may be sent to a safety-review provider. Private object storage holds the product copy of a successful result. The Privacy Policy states the current providers, purposes, retention limits, and unresolved boundaries.
How long are files kept?
Uploaded pet photos are kept for 2 days on every plan. Successful results are kept for 15 days without a subscription or with credit packs only, and 30 days on Creator. The period is assigned when the result finishes, so later cancellation does not shorten an existing creation. At expiry, playback and download stop and a scheduled job removes the private R2 file; task and credit records remain for billing and troubleshooting. Provider copies and logs follow provider policies, so Pawdeo does not promise that expiry deletes every provider-side copy.
Can Pawdeo guarantee a good result?
No AI video tool can guarantee identical quality for every pet photo. Pawdeo narrows uncertainty by publishing real samples, limiting each effect to benchmarked model-duration combinations, explaining input requirements, and keeping failure handling explicit.
